what are the specs of the bolt that fixes the starter motor on?

Mine is GONE. No idea how that happened but I'm getting the awful starter grind noise and I need to get it reconditioned. Probably no point doing it if I can't get the bolt though, hey.

It might be an idea to find out...

Why the bolt went "missing" in the first place... if the thread is stripped, you will need to rethread.

    Sorry... unsure about sizes.

PM me your address and I'll send it to you. I picked up a handful of bolts of various sizes at the recent Cresta sale in Brisbane - didn't expect to have a use for one so soon:LOL:

    M10 x 24 ?

    I think.

    It's a common problem and heli-coil may be req'd.

M10x1.0 (M10 x 24 is a mixture of metric and SAE thread specs)
