I know its close to Christmas but i've been planning this cruise for a few months now and since i haven't been on a cruise in months i thought id try and host one last WCC cruise before the end of 2008.

Now i've been trying to find a balance for everyone's tastes in cruises, and i think i've found a good route that everyone can enjoy. Most of the roads are 80kmph speed limit country roads, so plenty of good cruising speeds to enjoy all the sites. A small twisty run branch of road on Diggers Rd. And hardly any speed humps or bad surface roads to deal with.

Ive removed two of the original pit stop points, so less time parking more time cruising. I estimate 2 - 3 hours of driving time in total and depending on how everyone feels 30 mins - hour breaks at the pit stop points.

So if you guys are interested then post interests here please. If i dont get enough interests or bad time of year for a cruise then im postpone to January next year.

Sweet, yeh it should be great with the new route we are taking now. and cuz its night some of the roads will be scary to drive down.

The route will take us past the entrance to the Werribee mansion so just park on the side of the road and we cans top or just drove past and you guys join it. Probably be past the mansion around 9:20pm as we leave the shell station at 9pm.

I'm just posting a warning that tomorrows weather is suppose to be thunder storms and by looking at the news there is a large cloud band going to be over Victoria tomorrow. So its possible i may have to postpone this cruise until Jan or Feb next year. So please guys wait for me to pm you tomorrow around 4pm to let you know if the cruise is going ahead or not. That might be a good idea Adam. I can't make this one due to various other commitments which is always the case this time of year.

 

Cruise is Cancelled/Postponed

Hey guys,

Ive decided the weather is to poor for this cruise to go ahead tonight so ill be sending pms to everyone regarding the postponing of this cruise until early next year. Bit disappointed as i havent been on a cruise since the GOR in March. But it would be silly to go out with the weather they way it is. Ill get the mods to update the thread title for now and get them to update when i find a new date next year.

 

Dont say cancelled..

..just postponed... this would be a nice cruise and if early 2009 I'll be in like Flynn
