Hmm that's interesting reading The optimist in me would like to believe this is legit, but you just never know. Thanks for the link though. I had a good look through the Vicroads site today and couldn't find anything directly relating to footwear (or a lack thereof). About 10 years ago I asked a cop mate of mine and he said as far as he knew it wasn't illegal just not recommended. I just figured it was one of those urban driving myths that people always told me that it was against the law but I've never been able to find out 100%. *shrugs*.
I think in NSW it is legal to drive in bare feet - but illegal to drive in thongs unless they have a heel securing strap (ie sandal type). They reckon a thong can come off and jam on a pedal. Cheers, Dean.

Cruise sounds good! I think It would be good to have a cruise in a couple of weeks to 3 weeks or even 4 weeks time. what you recon??? 4 weeks would be plenty of time, for everyone to get ready and get down??? U all agree??? thumbsup: My car should be here this Friday/Monday and on the road in say 3 weeks, so It would definately be a good time for me to celebrate, with a cruise.:

well ive probably got the next 3 weekends off so that would be the best for me, after that im pritty booked up. Are we doing a cruise down to collie in april?
It's great to see some enthusiasm from the WA Guys!!! Risk was going to organise a cruise just before the collie track day, but I'm up for one in a couple of weeks. I was thinking about organising a cruise then a bbq back at my place in a few weeks, but if you guys want to organise something in the mean time, I'll be there and you'll definitely some of the others. Nathan, the collie track day is on April 2nd (sat?). Everyone should be cruising down together for the day, and I think some extra's will be bringing down spare tyres and tools etc. I'm presuming franz will post some thing up mid march with all the details. We have a good 5 or 6 new members now that all have cars so we should start to get some good turnouts. The most I have seen in WA is 9 zeds and a ute. Paul
