Guys and girls. I recently fixed my AC and realised the IACV and AAC connectors had been switched around. When i fixed this issue i ended up with a weird hunting issue whilst the car was warming up. The weird thing is it stops after the car gets to temp. Warming up http://s1366.photobucket.com/user/locobrothahigh/media/ZED032/MOV_00501_zpsd7e926da.mp4.html warm http://s1366.photobucket.com/user/locobrothahigh/media/ZED032/MOV_00521_zpsd64eccc5.mp4.html I am thinking IACV valve is screwed or maybe the temp sender is on the way out. Looking for some solid advice before i start spending money on parts i dont need Thanks Rob
Shouldve said The hunting goes away once warm. Plus i'm getting more boost than ever now (13.4 psi) Just compressing some ecu talk video, if i can get it small enough ill upload results as well
ECU TALK videos compressing the video to upload (video was 1 gig) has taken all readability out of the gauges..
is the ecu mode selector all the way anti clockwise. mine was a quarter turn off and it played up exactly like that.
Ok So I disabled the AAC connector and warmed her up this morn. The hunting went away, but it ran as rough as all f#!k. Missing and almost stalling like a real whore. Wasn't overly impressed tbh. But the hunting went away. Obv something wrong with the AAC IACV thingy. Can this be repaired easily or is a replacement in order? If it needs replacing I may take her off the road for a while do another plenum pull and get the injectors serviced as well. Plus the O2s cos I've got a lazy one Oh and ecu is all the way clockwise. And un-chipped
