I finnally got datascan going today and noticed that putting on aircon added from 5-10 degrees to my water temprature...

Is this a normal figgure? I never thought the effect would be that significent...

    Thanks in advance!

I have done extensive testing of this with my WPOP. In my zed since, I find about a 2 degree temp difference at highway speed, and about 5 degree around town.

I have removed the sub fan from mine and can assure it makes a big difference through slow moving traffic with A/C on. I have seen temps up to 97, then I turn the A/C off to bring the temp back down, and on the highway I see a max of 86 on a hot day.

Needless to say the sub fan is going back in :zlove:

This was on a 35 degree day...

    But it was highway speeds...

Pex prehaps your bonet has something to do with a rise of only 2 degrees?

I also noticed that putting the heater on full (40 degrees fan high) didn't reduce the temp any more than just having the aircon off.

i get similar results so this seems normal to me. I've got stock radiator but a UDP setup. Water temps averages around 85 with the aircon off in warm/hot temperatures. With aircon on it gets to about 90 and sometimes 95.
