My son has almost finished uni and will be moving from Perth to Canberra in about February 2006 to start his first job. He has just imported a Supra through Brisbane (didn't get his taste in cars from me!!!). He is thinking of getting the Supra trucked from Brisbane to Canberra in the next week or two after it is complianced. Can any Aus300zx members please suggest a safe and secure place to store the vehicle for a modest cost?
while i was on overseas posting, i had an almost new rx7 stored in canberra .. from memory it was with swiss motors, canberra, who i believe subsequently dropped out of this part of their business .. their rates were reasonable and the car was with them for over 4 years during two postings and was well maintained .. i would check with similar performance car firms in the ACT( not that the rx was a p/car>>!!) .. as a possibility ..??
Wizard, Chili & myself could look after it for you :wacko: ......... we always look after Z-ster's 300zx when he goes overseas. We take it for occasional runs to keep the cobwebs out (drags, wakefield park & last time we even took it to the speedway) but you have to realise that you will have to budget on a new set of tyres when you come to pick it up :thumbsup:
