    Hello,

I've a fully rebuilt engine that need again to be rebuilt due to a oil hose that explose on track :'( :'( :'(
I need to open the crankcase to check what's wrong but I'm pretty sure I will be good for crankshaft, rods and bearing.
I've also buy since a oil T° sensor and gauge... (too late i now  )

    here are my actual mods:
    -Nismo 555cc
    -T28 turbos
-eagle rods (if it's need i will change them)
    -Wiseco piston 87.5mm (bore cylinder)
    -HKS intake
-fully free exhaust (only remus at end)
    -DTA motorsport eprom
    -AIV, EGR removed
-GB FMIC (not yet but soon :D )
    -PFR6B11B spark plug
    -stage 3 clutch
    -Fidanza flywheel
    -Profec B spec2

I've heard that I need to change headgasket to be able to run that much boost but is there something else?
    thank you

    Man if your saying

you lost oil preasure on the track while raceing, i dare say that most off the internals are now damaged, pistons bore all bearings now need to be replaced, thats what id do. i dont think you will need to replace the rods, unless the engine seized? Maby you should look at doing a turbo upgrade, the t28's would be makeing no power at 23psi.

OK but whatever is damaged will be changed.
Rod end are really blue on cylinder 1 and 4.

But even if i go with new piston, new crankshaft, new rod and new bearing.
What else do I need to change to run at 23 psi (let says i have HKS 2530 but not on engine yet).

im going close to that on stock internals.. hahahaha

what ya have is ample.. if i was rebuilding the engine id get the block o-ringed for insurance

also, when you say t28 turbos.. what ones.. theres millions of em

i imagine hes talking about the standard t28 turbo (stock s15 ones) t28bb also reffered as.

and i disagree with what was said earlier i have seen stock s15 turbos running 23 psi many a times with high flowing.

the fmic will help ya run more boost aswell, so get the turbos high flowed also.

as said before, if you want more power get a light weight underdrive pulley man, good for like 20hp or something.

might want to look at a heavy duty clutch if you dont allready have one also.

dual intake couldnt hurt i suppose.

the 555cc injectors should be able to handle 23psi easy enough, iono about how much higher id go, prolly max around 25, just a guess tho.

maybe also get some better flowing dumps unless you allready have some, u said free flowing zorst so i guess could assume u do.

better ecu for the car a standalone one, nice expensive one for ya.

Sorry forgot to mention some things:

    I've already a underdrive pulley
I've already the good tuned ECU for 555cc injector
I've old T28 turbo's and will move to the HKS 2530GT
I've heavy duty clutch (stock one did 1 night with new parts)
    I'm still single intake
When I say free flowing it's mean i've nothing. I remove everything and just install the Remus at the end (DP, TP and H pipe has been remove)

    Good noise :D

I've built my car in only one year (i will post picture) and i've been spending an average of 1000? per month on it and still in garage

Why are you so set on running 23psi? Why dont you go for a power level?

And just because a turbo will make that boost doesnt mean it isnt way out of it's efficency range.

    UD pulley - no thanks

I'm not so set on any boost level.
I jut want good HP and i've heard when can't go over 500 with stock head gasket. that's why I ask.

    my car runs 23 psi

with 555 injectors so you dont need to upgrade your injectors, as long as you have a fully programmable computer. dont know how much psi the HKS 2530GT turbos can flow however.

also yes a stronger head gasket is a must at those levels of boost and power.
