lol i was thinking "ooh I might get those"

duh.... I could use NORMAL ramps on the 350Z...... but I wont even be needing to do that for some time Given Nissan will be doing all servicing.

It's kinda boring in new car land.

Oil filter change requires nothing more than a plank of wood or a couple of bricks.

Other under car stuff though, hell yes.

I'd leave you with your plank of wood and bricks... while using that small lift any day! [TIS]:p

hmm...even the tech section suggests driving the driver side front wheel onto a plank to get at the oil filter

    oh well

    I said plank OR brick

What I'm saying is, the car does NOT need to be lifted much to get to the oil filter. FACT.

Maybe not with the ride height of your... ok enough is enough, I still like the that small lift :p and I think the tech section would suggest using it had it been available. Just 2 days ago I changed the radiator, oil pressure sender and installed a new transmission cooler. That small lift would have made things much easier. :)

:D lol no we agree 100%. It's a cool ramp. I was just making a point that for oil filter, not needed.

but as said, for "other" things...BLOODY handy :D :zlove:

Yes i had a look at them six months ago.Pretty shore they were $125 on special. They are not that high so i got 4wd ramps instead and just drive up on sleeper blocks then jack it up to slide the 4wd ramps under. I like my car high so i then jack the rear up and slide sleeper blocks under the rear tyres. Would rather have the car supported well. If i had seen those jack up ramps 1st i would have bought them instead of the way i do it now.Next time i are near Radum i will grab a pair.If you look at the low ones for $125 a pair i woul rather buy the hydraulic ones for the bit extra though not sure if they lock up though so may still need stands to be safe ?.

I've got these which worked pretty good on the GTR...though if your quite low and have a front bar that sits out a long way your still going to have trouble with them.

easiest way i find when i have issues getting up those ramps

hard lock wheel to the right, line the ramp up (ramp wont be under your back coz your going sideways

also you'll notice when you turn the body (due to all your steering piviot points will lift the corner slightly

ofcourse its not needed. i can change my oilfilter without lifting the car at all. but its not comfy under there. and with that it would just make life easyer.. afterall thats wat most jacks engine cranes and stands are designed for...

Actually why doesn't someone just get some old Group A air jacks, you know they type built into the car and just hook the compressed air up to a connection in the boot and whalla! all four corners of the car are off the ground in a second :D...this would definitely speed up atilla's time to swap his tyres back around the right way, apart from the initial install time for the air jacks :p
