I have been thinking long and hard lately, and i really feel that an NA Zed would be better for me than a TT. Since i am not selling my Zed and am only interested in a straight swap, i didn't consider this to be a "For Sale" thread, if mods disagree then feel free to move it.

    Year: 1989
    Body (2+0/2+2): 2+2
    Colour: Cherry Red Pearl
    Engine (Turbo/NA): TT
Transmission (MT/AT): Automatic Cima gearbox, modified valve bodies
Interior (Cloth/Leather): Tweed, front seats are Velour
    Odometer: 148,xxx
    Price: Swap for an NA
Contact Details: Through PM or 0412 065 928

    Comments:

Car has been taken care of to the full extent of my capabilities and has been serviced 3 times a year by PZP. I have had all preventative maintenance done which i was aware of, previous owner (the one who imported it) had a plenum pull done 4 years ago and i just had another complete plenum pull and bypass done less than 10,000km's ago. I have owned this Zed since February 2009 and have done a little over 25,000km's since then.

Car has never seen a racetrack or a drag strip, nor has it been dyno'd. It was used as a daily and although it was occasionally driven "hard', it was nowhere near what most people give their Zeds or what the car was capable of. This is a part of the reason for sale, because i simply don't drive it hard enough to justify having a TT. Intake pipes and vacuum hoses have just been replaced with silicone ones. For any more info, you can ether contact myself or Chris (Ezupturbo) as he has done some work on the car and is very familiar with it and its condition.

    Aftermarket parts/work:
    - Cima gearbox with modified valve bodies (aka. a "shift kit")
    - KYB AGX shocks with aftermarket coilover kit (lowerd but legal, installed less than 5,000 k's ago)
    - 17" EOS rims, slight paint flake in some areas, but no gutter rash at all (i have never hit a curb), tyres have at least 85% tread
    - Apexi Pod filter
    - PZP front upper camber arms
    - PZP dumps and catback exhaust going to twin cannons (inc. test pipes), have not been fitted yet
    - Hardrace Tensions rods and brace, also not fitted yet
    - Pro-F 'Sheepdog' BOV's
    - Kenwood headunit with 3 rca pre-outs
    - 2 channel amp with 6x4 kenwoods in front and 4x4 kenwoods in rear.
    - Npower front strut brace
    - Complete plenum pull and bypass done
    - 100k servicing done 20,000k's ago
    - New thermostat put in less than 5,000k's ago
    - New spark plugs installed less than 5,000 k's ago
    - Custom made 1-piece tail-shaft done by previous owner
    - Front bar is a rare Impul 932S
    - Rear spoiler is a fiberglass mold of the stock, not squishy
    - Central locking/alarm/imobilizer/turbo timer
    - Manual boost controller
    - Radiator was just replaced maybe 2,000k's ago

Looking for an NA, no preference over 2+2 /2+0 or J-spec/Au-Spec. Want all of the preventative maintenance to be done, including full plenum pull and 100k servicing, and preferably less than 180,xxx km's.

Shame it's an auto, and you're on the wrong side of the country... otherwise I'd be all over this like a fat kid and cake.

    Good luck with swap

Yea i know, the market for these isn't exactly booming over here.

BTW, will also consider swaps for any other type of car of similar value, i fully intend on purchasing another TT within the next 12 months regardless of how this goes, so i'm not specifically looking for another Zed here.

    fetus Cowboy from hell.

if it were a manual id definately swap. but i just dont see how an auto zed could be half as much fun, manual NA > auto TT for me unfortunately. Good luck though.

I have a TT manual conversion kit in my shed. I have a NA auto black zed for sale.

Too bad i need the cash and too bad its a 4 seater.... Then again we are after a 4 seat car....needs more doors though i think.

    Hrm.... bugger!

Someone should drive an NA over to the west and drive a TT back east. That'd be a trek and a half! :O

Would consider a road trip if i had the time, don't have any more than 2 days off work at any given time so it just isn't viable to make the journey.

Also i'm specifically after an Auto, and preferably a series 2 NA.

Would also swap for something similar like a skyline/180/200/mr2/soarer/ect. This really is about me getting a feel for different cars before i come back to a TT zed, so really toss me any decent offer and I'll consider it.

Rishwin, grow a pair and learn to drive manual :D

Jokes, but seriously don't know why you'd want to swap, your TT looks pretty decent.
