I know that tints below 35% are illegal in NSW and ACT, but I don;t know the standards over on the Westside!! Also is it one of those things that is bent reguarlly? like I know I drove a car with 15%s for years and nothing was ever said... As I will possibly be moving over there shortly and am pondering putting in tints in a week just wondering what the go is over there??
Ok Don't quote me but i believe that under 35% over here is illegal too, when i got my tint done im pretty sure they guy said that to me, 35% was way too light and opted to go for the 20%, been driving with it on for about 6 months now and have had no problems, you'll have to have a pretty bad copper over here to give you a yellow for illegal tint... Well yeah Like i said before you would have to have a really bad copper to do u for that, plus there are way darker tints over here and i don't know a single case where a mate of mine got told to rip the tint off...
