what a great day! thanks to Tom for organizing it. My "renault" came second to ugames in the NA department. at first i was disapointed with 221.3rwhp but got get within 15rwhp of an HR zed is pretty impressive methinks. was great to meet some more of the crew as well. see you all at the next cruise. Olly.
I really love the power potential from the 350Z and the VQ engines in general. After checking out the port sizes on the standard VQ30DET heads, you can see why the VQ's are making so much more power than the older VG. Honestly, the standard VQ heads look bigger than a full port/polish on a VG head. And with the VVEL on the 370Z, it's great to see what we can do in the future of Zedding. I've just put an order in for some hardware/software to enable PZP to tune 350/G35 - 370/G37 cars and can't wait to start providing more performance orientated parts for the Z33's and Z34's.
Haha, that's why you have a convertible 350z! Drive the pretty sports car without understanding how it works! -Kirill
Does anyone have any pictures or videos of the dyno day? I'd love to see some and would like to post some on our new website being developed.
I know Evo Ross was taking a heap on his massive camera All i took was the vid of my run using a crappy stills cam http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HDZiCWisB4
I have the winning beast on the dyno, making a racket too! Not to mention my tt with 164 pulsating horses, don't suppose your interested in that one. lol.
dont worry about your 164 horses. At least you let them run in the padock. There's pleanty more zeds that are either off the road, or too chicken to run, so you're not a looser at all :zlove:
Never mind, I managed to beat a few vt commodores when mine was running in safe mode Quite respectful for any car running in limp mode really. Im interested to see what your ECU test reports.
It means once you man up and start modding your Z33, he will be able to tune it!! DO IT MAN! you know you wanna!! Oh and PM sent about Z33 tuning....
