Guys please contact us first before using the site name or URL on merchendise, in a case like this we don't want the forum being mentioned in case people behave in an untoward manner which we are then assoctiated with. Z logo and other stuff is fine but we would not want aus300zx.com on any license plate.

    Plates..

    Hiya Ben,

perhaps the forum should have been asked first,

On the note though, if people are proud enuff to want to be associated with this forum, as it is clearly the best forum for Z owners, I would have thought displaying our forum would be a good thing and couldn't be any more harmfull than displaying aus300zx.com decals on their cars, or wearing a shirt and cap in public...

I'd be glad to have the forum displayed on my plates, I'm happy to be part of the Zed comunity we have here...

Hey Ben, yeh sorry bout chucking that on there was just an example....prob heading more towards Aus300zx owners club or something similar? if thats ok of course.......anyway back to the backgrounds etc....there is going to be a format so one person can't get black and one blue...we will have to come to some sort of agreement in the end....perhaps the white background would be suitable so it doesnt clash with the cars colours.....but in the end it will come down to a vote, provided we have numbers.....

will double check on the sizing options....might not be possible....this may be bad for numbers lol...ever thought of relocating the plate to the left of the bumper

If your not allowed to use www.aus300zx.com perhaps use Australian 300zx Community or www.oz300zx.com. I'm sure if you asked PEXZED he would more than gladly support members to use it.

    Um

whats the difference between having it on your license plate or having the huge sticker on your quarter panel? I know which one is far more visible yet I havent heard of any concerns about these guys behaving in untoward manner.

    Awesome idea...

Just wanna say that this is a great idea and if I didn't already have personalised plates I would of jumped on this in an instant. :)

I agree with Zisluv, if the forum is selling large white stickers to put on your car, what's the harm in having the site address on your plate? If we really wanted to, we could make a sticker and put it on the plate anyway...no difference...

Having it on the plate looks more professional and also a lot of members don't like having stickers on their car.

Forum admin should support this idea, it will give greater exposure to the club. Besides, how many internet car clubs have their own plates?

    It's smart.

    Cheers
    Rob.

don't see the diff between a plate and a sticker myself...

perhaps we should all put in a $5 donation for each plate to the site as if it were a sticker...

    Plates and stickers

A plate is far more something which is 'officially sanctioned' whereas a sticker is a little more of a loose association between owner and club. I agree it's a questinable point, however ultimately if someone with Association plates was behaving badly it would reflect a lot more poorly on us than if they had stickers.

So i take it that means, we could get the plates made to fit in the stock recess on the rear bar? If thats the case im in. Had my design stored for a while now.
