Could some electric guru please explain how to wire an aftermarket voltage gauge? Can wiring come directly from battery terminals to a dash-mount cluster gauge and/or does a fuse need to be incorporated? Thanks...

Dont run it straight from the battery. You should be able to wire it straight into your wires directly under the steering column where most would use power for other gauges.

I have a brand new 52mm gauge you can have for $30.

    check the wires

in and around the ignition with a multi meter with the ignition of, don't use the wires that show voltage, other wise you will have a permanently on vm. Obviously use the wires that show voltage with the ignition on.
