VIN

Hey guys

I was asked for the VIN by Shannon's for my insurance. Which number are they after? I see the silver plate on the rad support as per http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1019895 but is that what they're after?
They also want a chassis number too?
Any help or direction as to where i can find these details would be appreciated!

How long have you had the car? Just look on your rego papers champ. If not, is your car jap spec or aus spec?

 

Should be recorded on your registration papers

 

There should be a VIN stamped in your engine bay somewhere... imports start with 6U9000

 

Oh jeez...I'll go see whether I still have them...
It's a J spec TT. I have the Chassis number which is on that silver plate, but VIN i have no idea...
