Hey guys, I haven't seen any post related to the SPL Parts 300ZX from the USA that compited at the Redline Time Attack event at California Speedway a few weeks ago It was a cool event and the Z32 compited against Porsches, NSX's, 350Z's, EVO's, STi's and others. It got 2nd at the Modified Class, winning against a modded GMG Porsche GT2 with 600 HP, but beated by 0.2 seconds by a NSX Twin Turbo with 650RWHP, both cars piloted by professional drivers...The driver of the Z wasn't a pro driver, but good enough to keep up with them...and definitely the Z did an awesome job too There's some really good driving, so I think many of you are going to like these videos... That's not my car I wish Actually, this car is in the US something like the slot car is in Australia. Mike Kojima is building a Z32 time attack race car right now and that's probably going to be a lot better than Kuah's car (SPL 300ZX)...I already told him to get in touch with John @ UAS to share some info and stuff.
I think Mike's car may be the one with the fibreglass (lightweight) doors and extremely awesome rollcage that i posted a while back, people may recall.

awsome stuff... i'd love to do that one day oh dreams Anyone know what the engine mods are on that Zed? form the pictures it doent look overly worked, but thtas just an outer veiw i guess. cant see AM intercoolers or anything though and it supprises me they have not modded for increased airflow through the front. other thing is... where the hell is the exhaust!
cool videos there should be more of it I reckon. regarding the intercoolers, didnt you know the yanks get all in a fit if you even suggest having them front mounted? it doesnt seem to matter to them that the 2 fastest 300s in Australia have them mounted in the front position.
