There was alot of cars,they blocked the road going to the spur and started defecting heaps of cars ,i got waved through after all they did was check my tyres
We were going to split up into a 300zx group if we had kept going for the exact reason you say above

 

so you didn't end up going all the way? or what happened?
Was the police presence usual? Or did they know this cruise was happening?

If the latter, i knew going on combined cruises leads to police presence, much better to go on a zed-only cruise, it's not going to get broadcast across the whole 'net, thus minimal crap to deal with.

Dont worry ,you didnt miss out on much,i reckon it was a shocker
First they go a stupid long way around to keep clear of Lilydale only to find the tmu shut the road off in the arse end of nowhere
They pretty much raped a few s15's and skylines ,defected a zed that was with us and by the time it was all over,every car had gone on their own way
It wasnt anywhere as good or well organised as our zed cruises,i wont be going on another cruise with that mob again.:bash: :bash: :bash:
The best thing was when all the zeds pulled up and we had a nice social chat,some old faces and a couple of new faces :zlove: :zlove:

 

that's chad car isn't it? what was the defect for?
chad, if it was for 2 intake mods then i've got an airbox you can borrow so that you don't have to change back to stock IC's.
also should have stock suspension coming out in the next few weeks if you need that.

it was a good night

chad got done for tyres , gauges on the pillar. but he will get it of soon . the cops had a booze-bus there just waiting .... the good thing is we all got home safe ... me and Kirby started to get a little tired .. so we got home at about 230ish ... we all got a chance to talk , when we pulled over ...lol....

not sure if i would go with the Nissan Silvia boys next time... the organized zed cruise is way better + its all zed ...

cant wait for the zed one....

it was good meeting new people, hope to see you guys next time...........

Up here we always organise our night cruises very subtly for the same reason.

HAHAHAHA you posted it at 2am...i knew you would do it lol. you and badxtc couldnt resist could you lol

meh only got done for a few things...

1. tyres = no problems

2. steering wheel shroud (i havnt put back the plastic bit because i was doing some wiring = no problems

3. gauges on piller (they complained that you are not alowed to have gauges on piller AT ALL...then they changed their mind and said its allowed but it needs to be padding...padding with only the face showing ...any1 for sheep skin group buy ....i explained that i asked vic roads before i did this and they said anything past the steering wheel height is not allowed, and all my gauges are wellll bellow the steering wheel height. so anyway he goes ok how about this we will put (to be checked by vic roads) on the paper...so meh anyway ill get it checked out

4. seat. aparently the drivers seat back rest moves too much. THIS IS WITH ALL ZED SEATS...im like dude its bolted down by 4 points on the floor and thats it, its an electric seat comes standard and thats how they all are because you have this lever and can move it....wouldnt listen and said its not safe...ahhh wtf do i do about this lol ????

thats all...now everyone that was passing by the booze bus they were only checking tyres, so im sure that if my tyres were ok they would have let me pass like the others....to be able to give you a yellow sticker they need to pin you for at least 3 things, so ye they went completly over my car just to find at least 3 things i guess...

i wasnt being rude or anything, i was being very causious and kind but i was going to get done for the tyres anyway, and they started to annoy the shit out of me when they were trying to pick stupid things out....

although there were a few funny things...
1. she didnt know how to spell "shroud" so i spelt it to her, awwww envy in her eyes :bash:
2. the guy checking the car out said my sub was only straped down to the cardboard piece that covers the spare wheel cover...lol wtf who would do this in the first place what would be the point of wasting your time putting a screw and strap through the cardboard piece lol..so i just ript away the carpet and said its bolted to the body standard form for my targas...
3. they really dont know much about cars.

anyway all in all, happy for what happened and its just an easy clear...first time i have EVER been given anything for the zed. i have a complete clean history. this was no fine given etc just have to go and clear it.

Yea, i don't think I'll go again with that bigger crowd i had a feeling it was gonna end on a bad note

reminds me of the time with a VL cruise and cops blocked off the road and it took like 12 hours to get through every car..

anywho, i had fun at the end of the night. man that aurion is quick as chad! lol
i lost you and did a few laps and couldnt find you. so i just headed off, My shout for food next time lol thanks heaps man

oh my god i saw like 20 cops on princess hwy last night pulling car's over left right centre, atleast 4 radars 2 booz buses.. must've been a blitz.. can only think that god i wasnt on the road lol

 

they let the 2 black zeds through no worries,i guess we were all legal (this is what happens when you have a totally street legal car chad ,clean ya act up son)
