[VIC] Small GOR Cruise 25/6/08

Hey all,

Just letting everyone know that Xavier and I will be doing a GOR cruise tomorrow, I know its short notice, but we only decided on it today ha ha. I though it would be better to let some of you know just in case.

And Renee and I haven't forgotten about the next cruise, we've just decided maybe it would be better after winter, we have enough cold days for other cruises, and I don't like the odds of the Ballarat road when its icy.

(We will probably start at about 10AM from Geelong, let me know if you want to come, as I will probably drive up to Melbourne to drive down together).

 

bloody hell dont you boys work??? If you were doing this on a weekend (other than this one) I'd be in for sure but mid-weeks a bit hard to do for us 9-5'ers...
let me know if you do another weekend run though, im based in anglesea now so the g.o.r. is about 1km from my front door.

Haha, never looked at it like that, guess im just crazy it'd be a bit different with 20+ ZX's on Ballarats roads, we all know how cold Ballarat gets.

I am guessing you'll be busy with work tomorrow Chad?

Im test fitting a stillen skirts and 2k front bar on Kathys,so hers is out of action at the moment,and mine is getting a few more engine bling bits and waiting for my new rims to arrive,so that out as well or we would have both been there no problems ,im no pussy,slippery roads dont worry me Paul lol

 

Ha ha, that seems like a good reason to avoid the slippery roads , just kidding i've seen your driving, and you can handle more than slippery roads.

The Ballarat roads arent too bad at the moment, been zero ice about cause its not cold enough.............. yet !!!
Was up at MtFranklin on Monday and had a ball in the zed, outside temp was chilly but the roads were in good nick and gave plenty of grip.
August is the month for the icy roads up in that region.
( watch the weather..... listen out for frosty night reports and farmer alerts..... good indicator of the icy roads situation )
