ask if they are going to give u printouts with afr's etc before you get a run...i went to the last one re customs had couple of weeks ago and they did it in shoot out mode. kw/psi...obviously with that many cars they try to get them on and off as quick as possible....

i asked about the AFR's, just waiting on a reply. I'm mainly going because it's easier for me to get my cams licence form approved in Springvale rather than having to go to a sau meeting in the city, also interested to see what my car is running...

just to clarify, the $40 price is for members of SAU VIC (ie you've payed your membership fee)... so if you're just a forum member on SAU but haven't paid your membership fee to SAU VIC then it'll be $60 for 3 runs.

also, I was planning on organising an aus300zx dyno day at some stage, as i don't think we've had one in Vic for a while. was thinking of either RE customs or Access Auto (same street as Dontex) so if you'd prefer to wait until I start planning our day then that's cool. but feel free to come down to the SAU day to have a look

who ever goes on this dyno will not be impressed. their dyno reads lower than other dyno's.

sandeep do the aus300zx one at a diff place. if you dont belive me get a dyno run at re customs on this dyno day and then get another run at another dyno and you will see the differences. i dont know if they dont set there setting properly but their dyno undereads...i even had the guy doing the run for me telling me his dyno underreads...

ok i'll have a look at the place near Joe's workshop for our day.
but i'm still going down to the SAU one, it's $40 for me and i'm not really shooting for top place on the dyno list, just to see how the car's running... flat spots, afr's etc

I think I would preffer an Aus300ZX day really so count me in for that.

Also, let me know if you want a hand with anything organising it.

Ok well me and Mike are going to run our cars at the SAU day.
I'll start looking into holding our own day soon, probably after GOR cruise so maybe late April/May. That should give everyone plenty of time to get their car ready, finish mods etc. Will post up an EOI after I find a few good locations.

I asked about the printouts and they said that I should be able to get whatever printouts I want.
Also if anyone was thinking of joining SAU VIC, they're doing membership + dyno runs for $100 on the day.

ok so i'm probably not going to be dyno'ing my car this weekend, i'm still going down to look though.
i was actually looking forward to running my car after getting really good results from a comp test and fixing up a few things at chad's the other day. but now i have a detonation sensor error code. only came up today or yesterday but now i don't want to run on the dyno this weekend as the dyno result would be pretty embarassing unless i can bypass it beforehand.

have sent a few emails around regarding an aus300zx dyno day, have to get a location before i post up an eoi.

haha and we thought everything was all good last sat. i probably can't run either due to my bad luck with the bastards @ the tyre shop. not being able to put wheels on the left hand side won't help my dyno result

yeah it's alright though. gives me time to fix up a few things with my car. After we fixed everything at chad's i was hoping to put down some decent numbers for a stocko NA, also wanted to see how our cars would compare. realised something was wrong when i went through 1/4 tank in 45km after I filled up after leaving chad's. Also, I think one of my O2 sensors I installed at the tech day has died already... brand new from the PZP GB, only lasted 1000km. I'm gonna rip the other one out and just get NGK's.

dude i still rekon u got a fuel leak somewhere. that's just abnormal economy even if we take into account the massive vac leaks you had and running rich etc...

Well the fuel wont be leaking from any of the awesome hoses I put in :p

Sandeep does the fuel rail hold pressure after you have turned off the engine.. Check your gauge

nah doubt he has a fuel leak mike, his fuel rail held pressure when it was off, gauge still showed pressure...

sandeep you can still run it, get the resistor and ill bypass it for u on sat...when on dyno just tell the guy u have bypassed the sensor and if he hears detonation to stop immediatly.....
