How's it going Zed OwnerZ? I'm a new member of aus300zx, the name is Andy (friends write as "Andii" ) I own a 1989 NA 2+2 300ZX Auto and I am the first owner when it reached Australian shores from Japan. The way I bought it.. it doesn't have twin exhaust, just the one pipe on the left side. I don't know, I don't really like it will fix it up sometime soon! Also the rims aren't stock, looks alright for now though. If anyone wants a pic of them I'm willing to take one Chrome wipers and.. thats it, pretty stock, done 120***K's and still going strong. Anyway, I've always loved the Z (as a spectator) but actually owning and driving one is pure <3 I thought I'd come here to share my <3 with you guys and gals since I'm sure you all feel the same way! I've had my car for quite a while.. heard I was 'one of few' lucky ones to get my Z in, something regarding new import rules, 15 year etc. I can't remember lol but yeah, I'm glad I got it and loving it heaps I took a picture for you guys since I thought it would make this intro a little better. http://i48.tinypic.com/141v1c4.jpg Hope it shows up alright for you guys. This was taken at Lynbrook Lakes, went there this afternoon just take a quick snap. As you can see I like using photoshop lol (border shades etc.) so if anyone needs anything graphic related, hopefully I can help out! I did a search and all the topics I got were x years old regarding where to get the stickers.. so do I contact a certain member for Melbourne aus300zx stickers?? If so, who exactly?? Well, that's it for my introduction. Would like to get to know you Z Owners in Melbourne! I know there's a black Z right behind my house in Hampton Park - probably it belongs to one of you guys lol Tis' all from me for now! Oh, I'll write up and show you guys what I plan to do with my my Z soon. Would like to hear your input and get expert advice from you! Hi Andii, welcome aboard. There is lots of good stuff here for a new Zed owner and lots of people willing to give advice and pitch in to help you out. Nice looking Zed, and the TT front bar looks much better than the standard NA one. Your plans to ditch the single exhaust are spot on in my view, why anyone would unbalance the look of the car like that beats me. Anyway, to each his own. Seeing you have just bought the car, you might not know much about the important 100K service. If you don't, use Search and the Tech area and all will be revealed. Unless you can determine without a doubt that it has been done, it should be very high on the list of things you plan to do. Good luck with the car - come along to a Zedfest sometime. @ angrybear - Thanks for the welcome! =) I'm not actually a -new- Zed owner ^^ I've had my Zed for about 3 years now! It's already done the 100k service, appreciate the tips though! Was the first thing I did when I got it! I'm just a -new member- Oh as for "YakuzaMoon" it's from the book "Yakuza Moon" by Shoko Tendo, about the daughter of a Yakuza boss about her life etc. good read if you're into that.. true story and all! Very sad! And what is Zedfest about? I'll have to check that out.. @ black baz - Thanks for the welcome!
