[VIC] MEET/GREET/CRUISE/EAT 29/12/2007

last cruise of 2007 just to end the year with some zed fashion...

meet is at the rear of shell petrol station in dandenong on cheltenham rd....

details about drive and food will be explained at the meet.

MEET @ 8:30PM for a leave of 9PM

nothing to fancy just a meet/greet and a drive for some dinner...

please DO NOT post in this thread if you are unsure of coming. only definate people in please post.

IF YOU LIVE too far from this location, just let me know and we will meet you somewhere on the way....(heading up towards st kilda way)

since i know non of the elder guys would be in because of their views on these cruises i forgot to mention this night will not in anyway be a race. any driver misbehaving and not driving sensibly will be asked to leave. no dragging, no racing, drifting etc. its a meet/greet cruise!

haha no thats what was said. if you had been here for a while on the forum you would know that non of the elder guys from the forum come on these cruises because they feel that there is too much havok that goes on at these small cruises we organise.

so i was encorouging them to come by saying there will be no illegal behaviour conducted and if so the offender will be asked to leave on his way....

hope i would get a reaction. mission accomplished mark one down for the old guys. lucky i dont think like an old guy or i would be driving a ford station wagon. as much as i love the zed an ac cobra is a car i would have in a heart beat. enough said from this older guy i promise my zimmer frame wont get in the way when we eat. :zlove:

As an "older guy" I just prefer to do my cruising at an earlier time, say during daylight when I can see all the nice cars and the great roads I'm on. Call me old fashioned but meeting at 8.30 to go and get dinner at 9.00 is late for me. As a family man I just get used to having to feed the kids by 7.00 so they aren't eating right before bed time.

 

yeah i'd kinda like to meet a bit earlier too if at all possible cos i live about 1 1/2 hours away from dandy

yup i remember you saying that in another previous thread wykked. i understand what you mean. it was actually more about those who thought there was too much trouble at the night meets i guess... i didnt think this would get much attention, but if alot of you guys are interested in coming then it would be worth making it a cruise/meet during day for some dinner around the time prescribed...
