VIC - EOI - Cruise to Inverloch?

Hey all,

I was thinking of doing a cruise in late April to Inverloch (about 2 hrs from Melbourne CBD).

Details are still high level but I was thinking Bass Hwy to Inverloch for lunch and then back on some of the many twisty roads.

Anyone keen? Anyone with local knowledge? Anyone with other route suggestions for that area?

Sign up as the weather will go shite in Winter so there isn't many cruising days left before Spring.

Sounds like a good excuse to meet the VIC crew, would come to one of the earlier events but things are fairly hectic atm

 

Looks like it'll be great fun, unfortually I'm and hour and a half on the other side of melb lol.. oh and my zed isn't running lol

 

Yeah could be up for this, took my zed via inverloch to wilsons prom for a holiday in sept last year. The main roads are pretty boring from memory, so some local knowledge would be good

Thanks mate. That's good to hear. I reckon the best cruise I have ever been on (in ANY car that I have ever owned) is the GOR Run and I know these runs won't be as epic but I hope they're still enjoyable.

Most of the VIC crew smell mate. It's not that exciting to meet them.

Get the Zed going, clean it and come. You will fall in love with it all over again. DON'T SELL, or I will cry.

Yeah. Bass Hwy isn't the best but I know a few of the back roads and they are good. I might check them out early next Saturday morning. I drove a few of them in late January when we stayed at Venus Bay. Nice bushland scenery. 100km/h zones with plenty of bendy bits between Bass Hwy and South Gippsland Hwy.

its been a while since I've been on a cruise....

but as usual, I couldnt confirm 100% till it gets a bit closer. Also, I would need a firm date.

 

Yeah Should be right to go here! yet to meet anyone also, but also yet to drive the zed. All things going even remotely to plan, should be able to make it.
