Vg30det timing belt

    Hello i want to replace the timing belt and the tensioner of my vg30det. Does anyone know if the z32 vg30dett's is the same one?

    definately not the same dude!!! z32 has 4 cam gears. z31 has two... from memory

    VG30DET is the super rare twin cam single turbo one ;)

    I would guess they would be very similar, if not the same.

    He said VG30DET silly. Not a VG30ET and not a VG30DETT and he definetly didn't say an FJ20ET, or a CA18 you call yourself a Nissan fan ;)

    Z31 is a SOHC.

    But to answer the question, yes the VG30DET and VG30DETT's are exactly the same belts and tensioners :p

    The waterpump may allign with your setup. I used a bracket and makeshift alignment for the z32 pump i bought and different belt, the alternator (area) i'm talking about, but it alligned with the crank pulley area from the pump.

    My alternator is on the drivers side (z31 alternator) and P/S on the passengers side.
