I have a veilside front bar for sale. It is fiberglass and is in good condition... has a crack at the bottom which is unnoticeable when looking at it normally, crack can only be seen when bumper is lifted upwards (which is shown in pic). Price: $200 , Location: Perth WA, Dianella. Contact Number: 0401304909 (msg prefered) Thanks Frankie
I would say that considering it is painted grey, has the holes drilled and showing signs of bolt wear, and the general condition of it, there is a pretty good chance it has been fitted.
its an extreme machines knock off.... seen these and they are poorly made.... honestly am surprised you managed to get it off without it crumbling into many little pieces
This bumper has been fitted, The bumper feels like good quality... it will not flex and bend like the china bodykits.. its not warped either...$100 is cheap for a frontbar anyways. Especially if you live in W.A. (just come and pick up) Freight for this front bar to melb would be around $100 im assuming? because it costed me $100 to post a front bar from melb to perth...although the guy might of ripped me off :S Best thing is to organise your own freight company to pick up this front bar that way you know your not getting ripped off for freight. Please ask if you have any queries, Cheers Guys
Hi there dude I am from WA pretty interestred would there require much repair, would be interested in having a look is it sold??
A fibreglass kit from bunnings bout $35 is all you need to repair the crack and re-glass the mounting holes....
Just a note. For the expensive kits you want it to flex. This does not mean they are cheap china kits, it means that it is made from Urethane rather than fiberglass (which is what car manufacturers use). A cheap china kit is more likely to be made from fiberglass rather than Urethane. Urethane can withstand great impact and still retain shape, usually only needing painting after a collision. A fiberglass kit will shatter. Just info for the curious.
Yes this is true...china kits are definately made of fibreglass..i think the expensive flex bodykits you are talking about are called "FLEXI-FIBRE". what i meant was, alot of cheap china bodykit's are made with very thin fibreglass so they flex to a limit but yes they will also break very easily..
So I was wondering is the front bar bolt on or do you require mounting brackets? Am very interested in the front bar the small minor to detail cracks are easy to fix, have done fiber classing before. Looks quite good actually.
