Is anyone running a set up like this and this?

The new exhaust I have waiting to go on has a fair bit of drone at low rpm apparently. I was wondering if this would be a viable option to help rid this problem?

Doubt that would fix drone, more volume control

What exhaust? If you want to cut drone proper you need an x pipe with as big a muffler as you can get. The UAS x pipe muffler is probably the best solution available.

I have both a 2+0 and 2+2 in the Abflug exhaust.....you can buy the 2+2 and modify to suit if you want? That's what I had planned to do before I got the 2+0 exhaust.

3" Abflug Power Superior cat back exhaust system.

That was the original option I was going to go with as I have heard the UAS X-Pipe was pretty decent. I didnt want to remove the original H pipe though. Just thought this might be an alternative to that.

Ive heard that too. Is there any documentation that you have found stating that? Im curious as more cars have bi-modal exhausts these days.

Just online, could be wrong -you'd need to look up exact wording for your state

Its a defect in NSW, but only if you actually use it on the streets (as in open the butterfly valve) - that's the last time I checked anyway

having said that many cars can be defected as it is right now. e.g. non aus approved suspension / EGR removed etc - the list goes on

Although a louder noise component attracts them faster as well
