I seem to have this loud swooshin ie leaking pipe/vaccum noise comming from the passenger side of the car under near just under the seat position (outisde underneath of car)...the car over heats after a short time of driving and the noise is loud real loud..can anyone help me out with what hoe/pipe this is as I need my zed back on the road asap.. thanx
could be an under gearbox hose, given the car overheats it's not an exhaust leak unless it's unrelated to the overheating.
last time i looked there were no hoses under the gearbox.... over heating and loud noise could be seperate issues... doubt anything causing the overheat would woosh.... look at your exhaust for wooshing sound....
My thoughts exactly check to make sure you're not loosing coolant, could be a split coolant hose!. If so dont drive till you get it fixed or you will cook your engine Hope this helps, Andy
all levels appear fine..Auto trans..Was told could be a plenum pipe..only prob being in SA arent too many places that will touch my car, or if they do charge close to 1k just to look at it... doesnt seem to be exhust leak as the pip isnt solid, just cant get the car jacked up to have a proper look...
