Nope, that's his mobile number. As far as i know he doesn't have a business landline (since he shares a garage with Mindaurie Exhaust). Not to mention that it begins in "04" so it quite obviously IS a mobile number.
If he isn't open again till the 11th is it possible he doesn't want to be contacted business wise till then ?
"we were meant to meet today" i think implies that Tom is expecting him, or has already arranged to meet him. Just cos he has a business, doesn't mean he can't do personal sales like the rest of us.
