OKay Well my car has been running fine now that i finally got it back from nissan(100+120k service) etc... :)they finally got it right ..so i thought..:bash: im driving a long the highway towards the coast to drop a friend at shailer park and i put my cruize control on set to aprox 100km/h anyway after about 5 mins... i feel a tug/release and i was like WTF:eek: was that.. wasnt to bad but definately noticeable.. look at my speedo to see if my cruize failed.. speedo says im going 0km/h and im like WTF!!!! so i pull over turn the car on and off and realise i should just keep driving its probably just my speedo cable thingo... anyway i go to turn off the highway and ive lost my power steering felt like i was steering one heavy mother **** brick anyway i get to where im going stop turn the car off pop the bonnet have a look and everything seems okay(its dark and all i have is a LED torch) all fluids are full etc... no liquid leaking under the car.. Someone comes to pick me up..before i left i take it for a test drive.. Steering is fine all of a sudden(WTF) drove it the whole way home (bout 20 mins) but the speedo is still not working..

Any ideas what could have happend? any advice etc would be great... thank you =)

There is a very good article in the tech section under steering that will help with this. Have a read and go through it. Should give you an idea as to what is wrong.

If ur speedo is not working and ur power steer only works for say 2 mins its def ur speed sensor.(gearbox)
If the cruise is still working its most likely bad solder joints on the speedo .
do as Drz400y has suggested and read the appropriate tech article.
