More than enough EOI's in the other thread http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=266759 to open this group buy so here we go... For anyone who missed it combination x-pipe and muffler replaces your constrictive factory H-pipe with a high-flowing X pipe AND incorporates a high quality muffler to reduce resonance, particularly at cruising RPMs. The internals are made of high quality perf tube that allows the exhaust gas to cross over, tumble and accerlate so no need for a balance tube. It has been designed by UAS exclusively for the Z32 and fits in the factory location without any clearance issues. I can guarantee it fits nicely with aftermarket metalcats and tuneagent dump/front pipes as this is the setup i was using on my car

The unit is available in 2.5" or 3" in/out, and in mild or stainless steel (stainless features stainless internals as well).

    Prices as follows

    2.5" mild steel: $356
    2.5" stainless stell: $432
    3" mild steel: $432
    3" stainless steel: $495

    How To Order

To confirm your order I will need a 50% deposit, so please PM me with what size in/out and your choice of mild or stainless steel construction. I will only supply my account details to those who have PM'd so please make sure you do so by the cutoff date below.

    Timeframe

The group buy is open NOW and I will continue accepting orders at this price until the end of the October. These units are made to order in Sydney, and production rate is approximately two per week. Production can begin once the minimum five orders are received and confirmed so the sooner you get your deposits in the sooner UAS can start sending these out.

As in the post it depends on the buyers.... between you, Hyper101, and claymen that is three orders from today only. Should definately hit five by the end of the week so if you get your deposit in then no problems whatsoever with getting your muffler by november.

    I'm interested! :D
I definatley need one, think i should be able to get the cash together too.

Just noticed everyone seems to be going for stainless... is there a major reason for this?
The way i see it advantages of stainless are bling and more longevity (but i'd like to know how much more... is it worth it?) the mild steel might not last as long but if it still will last 20 or so years than thats good enough for me... i imagine that there is a drain hole in the muffler for the water that would no doubt collect in there?? mild steel would also reduce resonance slightly more than stainless wouldn't it?

Yep I love stainless for the bling factor, polished mine up after around 12 months on the car and i't's back to a mirror shine which I love... But yes mild will probably last I know they have sold quite a few mild steel units over the past seven or eight years and no problems yet.

Not as far as I know and I've never seen a muffler with a drain hole?

Yes mild should be slightly quieter but the main benefit is in the muffler itself. Don't know how much of a difference you would notice between mild and stainless in terms of noise.

I'll just pipe in and say I have one of these.
They sweeten up the exhaust note, remove drone, and effectively removed 4-5 db from the exhaust at the tail pipes.

New rails are in, some of the guys saw them at the dyno day. Injectors are in too so just waiting for Andew to have a minute free so as they can rig it up to a plennum again and make a vid of the spray pattern.

No sorry mate the prices above are as good as it gets. There isn't much room to move with these as they are made to order in sydney which means alot of the cost is in Aussie labour rates.

Just out of curiosity, after this group buy has closed at the end of october will these be unavailable or just more expensive, and if so, about how much?

just want to ask as these are made from scratch if we could get it made as two indivdual pipes comming together without being covered by that whole box thinggy......i would take the benfits would be lighter and looks a bit better aswell....

can it be done and wouldnt it be cheaper as less work involed...ie no box needed on top to cover it....

hope that wasnt a stupid question..

    The box probably helps

I'd assume is packed with some kind of material which would help remove some of the noise.
