finally got new body kit (Veilside C-II) and was thinking about going for a two tone paint job on it, Red for the main part black lower parts Opinions?
i'll try i'll have a hunt around for some pics tonight once i'm back from work (hooray for sunday rates)
any one got pic i need a pic of red C-II body kit, i can photoshop it from there. alas my skill is not grand
do you mean like how rx7 series 8 have a lower lip thats black? like how rexies have that black plastic stuff on the bottom of their stock kits? sorta like so only 15mm of the bottom of the kits are black? if so, if done properly would look freaking awesome.
pretty much yeah, only certain parts. i should probably mention only the front end is C-II rest is C-I
heres attempt no.1 http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee260/reneguage/miccycopy.jpg thanks to scump for the image
Ha ha already linked it actually. Universal will be chuffed Reneguage I think that pic look okay actually, not really a big fan of Veilside gear but the two tone breaks up the kit a bit and makes it look like a custom splitter which is cool
hey reneguage, how about it the top side of the lower lip stays red and where the 2 meet they fade in to one another? side ones should help you decide what you want on the sides abit better tho ey, i still reccon itl look sweet... but still think it should fade from red to black
when ive got a day off to have a good play around with it, ill come up with a few designs and see which one look best
been playing aound abit fiddling around with a few designs, and a bit of extra decals and i think i'm far gone over my budget to get this done professionally. Has anyone here done anything similar previously and how much of a hassle is it to do? OR Anyone know a good & cheap spray place in the greater Melbourne area?
second attempt This gives a better idea (i guess) of the way i want to go with it, that being said i can't photo shop very well so these look as the french would say; sheet any other idea's or Photoshop-ing welcome. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee260/reneguage/style2front.jpg http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee260/reneguage/style2side.jpg http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee260/reneguage/style2rear.jpg ps scump: i like the fade in idea but i dont know how to do it in photoshop
so in actual fact its a C1 bodykit witha C2 front bar.. mmmmmm be iffy... thing with breakingup and contrasting it like that is where do you break it... you need a join, or a solid hard corner to break it up and look any good IMO.. not the top of a very curvy curvy which veilside is all about
