VIC twisties cruise - FRIDAY 9th OCT.

hey the good ol' melb crew.

planned this with a mate and would love to catch up and have a twisties run and mini meet photoshoot..

would do the dandys's but after my recent trip the bumps arnt suited for my suspension set up so we will try these out.. ++ kebabs on the way home

meet point: MYOB australia 12 Wesley Crt, Burwood East VIC 3151 (MYOB Australia)

time: 8pm meet for a 9pm depart

What to bring: jacket to keep yourself warm, CB radio if you have one and a full tank of fuel.

Friday night is our weekly twisty run, ,so we may bump into you somewhere along the way

want to get some proper pics of your zed and test my coils out. but i thought you were more of a spur runner?

 

kinglake /marysville is fantastic,i know those roads well ,only 15 mins from here,10 on a good night lol

The spur is a much more demanding area and its much better for you to get familiar with your setup on less dramatic roads,absolutely no room for error in the spur and beyond !!

 

yeah i learnt that the hard way
but lets no go there hahaha.

i havent been out this way before. sounds great though. are the road surfaces like the spur?
i tried the coilovers out going up to skyhigh. the rear powerslid around a big dip hairpin apex, other than that smooth sailing. except the roads going up are horrible. my car was all over teh place bouncing on the ruts. coming down on the smooth part was a dream though.. hard to get good set up though... and need more distance + time to change the zed accordingly.

but yeah better get familiar with the setup before hitting the spur again

 

all the roads out this way have been upgraded,perfect surfaces,should be for 2.8 million ,most got burnt in last summers firestorm and have been redone
mt dandy is shocking,bad road surfaces and dickhead tourists,we stay well away from that area,Yarra Valley ftw

That's the night after my exam! Will aim to have my car back together so I can make it

 

I might ride as a passenger with someone if they're willing. Neither of my cars are suitable for twisties at the moment.
