The car needs some work so the price is $6000ono

I am the second owner in Australia. I was informed by the previous owner (mature aged person) that the engine has been rebuilt around 10000kms ago by Nissport, but he was unable to provide any receipts so please assume that the engine is not rebuilt.

I am not a mechanic so I am only going by what others have told me. The last photo shows the RWC inspection. Going through the points:
    1. Exhaust - one of the cats is blocked. I have already bought 2 new 2.5inch metal core Magnaflow cats for replacement but didn't have time to replace them yet.
    2. Oil leaks - apparently there are some if you look under the car. Having said that, after the car stands in the garage during the weekdays and I take it out on the weekend, I never saw any stains on the garage floor underneath the car.
    3. Steering wheel - the car has a Momo steering wheel - the mechanic said it has to be stock.
    4. Secure Battery - the mechanic said the battery wasn't bolted down propely but he has tightened the bolts and its fine now.
    5. LH mirror - had a sticker on it so the mechanic told it had to be removed; the sticker was removed.
    6. Vibration through car (Noise in rear/Bearings? Tires?) - after doing some research, it is most likely the tailshaft being out of balance which seems to be a common problem with these cars.

Other problems I know of are : one of the rims is damaged (don't know if its reparable) - can probably find another set of rims if you wanted; when the car seats still with no driving for a while the battery is drained - somebody told me the alarm system might be doing that. Also, my neighbor has reversed into the driver's side door not long ago but that has been fully repaired through insurance with a new door skin put in place. The second photo is to show what the door looks like now - ie. the repair job was done well.

Car is pretty much stock other than the steering wheel, rims and turbo timer. Will try to get more pics. What do you mean by general description of the car sections? If you are seriously interested, the best option would be to come and have a look at the car.

Will also consider a swap for a 300ZX shell with no driveline + cash my way.

    EG interior ripped/new, paint cracked/chipped/new,

tires worn/medium/new, engine rattles/quiet as, stereo stock/aftermarket cd, alarm system is ????, and so on.
If you are seriously interested in selling maybe post some more pics and a better description. no offense but I wont go see a car without knowing and seeing at least the basics. i work 7days week and taking time off work means loss of money to me.
    Thx
    Joe

    mr zed x chassis scrubbin..

    me to :confused::confused:

    - interior being ripped - fair enough.
    - paint new? look at the pics...
    - posting what alarm it had wouldnt be smart on a public forum would it?
    - tyres to get road worthy would atleast be medium. common sense.
    - engine rattles? im sure he would of said "oh yeah, it has a knock that is prob a turbo" doubt he is selling to deceive us joe. he told us about thetalishaft, he wont leave out the engine i would pressume.
    - stock stereo... come on. its 20 years old lol. cassette FTW?

my view on what you asked.

and joe, if you have a problem with this ad, go read iCers. more spiel about beating VL's and their noob drivers, bathroom spec eyelids and 310.3 killowasps to all 400 wheels than there is general information about the car.

good luck with the sale torquesteer :)

All I did was ask for more info and gave examples as to what

i meant since he asked "What do you mean by general description of the car sections?". nothing of what i wrote related to his car, they were just examples so he knew what i meant when i asked the original question.
i must of crossed some invisible line of good manners.
Good luck with the sale torquesteer.
    Thx

Put on another set of wheels and the vibration that the car has had before disappeared - must have been that damaged rim (as mentioned in the first post) causing vibration.

I have also had a mechanic looks at oil leaks and it turned out to be just a high pressure powersteering hose leaking power steering fluid.

And the stereo looks to be stock on the car apart from a CD player.

    NEW PRICE $5800

Might still be interested in a swap for either a slicktop (cash either way depending on condition) or a run around (4age corolla or a civic).
