In simple terms, I no longer require this car (despite how much I would love to keep it). I have recently purchased a Commodore SS V8 VZ model and I simply don't drive the zed enough to justify keeping it as a second car, I also want to supercharge the SS to the max for brute power) Originally I was going to sell the car for $14,000 some 6 months ago to help as a deposit on a new car, but I understand the market towards zeds have changed somewhat recently. I then listed for $10k, but unfortunately didn't give the listing the time it deserved and missed out on some interest. I'm explaining this because the price I'm about to quote will have some people asking why the dramatic drop in price. The car is in great condition and runs very well, she has great power and would give the 12s barrier a run for its money on the 1/4 mile. anything wrong with the car? Low compression? any leaks? Have you done the 100k service? RWC supplies? Good price for a good machine id say!
If you're seriously interested, let me know your details and I can arrange for you to take it for a test drive, she runs well, the 100Km service has been done all receipted, like I say in the ad, the only isses are the paint work at the front and on the side doors, but as you can see in the pics she still looks impressive!!!!!
Just as stated in the ad, paintwork needs tidying up - but shouldn't be too excessive a cost to fix up - in all honesty I've lived with it like that because i bought the car for speed. It's limited at 180kmph like most in Australia but a boost controller will fix that up. No leaks or low compression that I'm aware of, my brother in law (works for the RAC) did a check recently - I can get him to write up a report if required - and didn't pick anything up. When you say RWC suplies - i'm not sure what you are referring to - please clarify! The price like I say is a bargain - the main reason is I have no time to drive her so for me it is money sitting there going to waste and in reality a car like this should not be sitting in a drive way, she should be on the road looking wicked!!!!
