Twin Exhaust

Can anyone give me some idea, doesn't have to be 100% accurate, just budget. I'm looking at a Z32 TT manual 2+2 to buy and it requires an Exhust apparently the manifolds are ok but needs replacing from there back would like to go with 21/2" just to give it a nice note. working to a budget so roughly what price am i looking at.

Would a normal exhaust shop be OK for this job on a Z TT or should i go to a specialist.

A normal exhaust shop would be fine as long as they are good, I took mine to a place in Dandenong on the advice of a few members here and was very pleased with the result. If you are on a budget I'd me looking to buy most of the components yourself and get the exhaust shop just to fit them. that being said, I got my Magnaflow mufflers through this place in Dandenong (name slips my mind right now but I can look it up if you like) and god a decent price. I think mine was $1600 all up from the headers all the way back (NA) including 2 metal core cats, 2 Magnaflow mufflers and a centre muffler I bought from UAS.

No, it was in a little factory estate on Dandenong Rd just past the corner of the freeway if you are heading away from the city, I'll look it up tonight if you want, or Sandeep should know, he sent me there.

I just rang Daalder Exhausts and as you said they quoted $1600 but they will use Redline Mufflers ???.

 

Don't know if Redline mufflers are good or bad, sorry, no help there.

Get youself some magnaflow mufflers and a centre twin entry exit muffler, with some highflow cats, 2.5" mandrel bend exhaust and you will be happy.
Or do what Mike said pick up a catback that you may like from here or you can buy them brand new just depends how much you want to spend, minimum would be $1500 for full exhaust.
