these boost controllers are meant to be one of the best you can get. I will be getting this boost controller but thought I might see if there would be interest in a group buy on these to get it at a cheaper price. normally these retail around the $795 mark, but I can get these for $730, pickup at AMEC, delivery will be extra. from the Turbosmart web site: More than just a boost controller, e-Boost2 puts you in total control of your turbocharger. With a host of new features and state-of-the-art software, e-Boost2 is the one accessory all owners of turbocharged cars should have! Easy to use, yet sophisticated and technologically advanced, e-Boost2 is equally at home in a street-going vehicle as it is in a top-level race car. aww me me ME, i put my hand up, i put my hand up!!! haha err yea that was just the little kid in me lol these are the only boost controllers i want to get and have wanted one for ages...as i dont have one so im in for sure. do we get a choice of size and colour or just whatever is on the plate?? and is it just the standalone controller or de we get a choice of single/twin led ring, led colour, dash/rollcage mount etc etc cheerZ :zlove:
I asked a renown Dyno shop to sell me the best EBC, they could source to install and this is the one they recommended. You can literally see yourself boosting on a blue led bar graph. It has a host of features from connecting up with intercooler sprayers, and water injection systems, etc, that can hold 3 individual boost settings and is also upgradable with 2 models that can boost up to 40psi or 60psi.!!
Definately interested but to be honest the discount doesn't seem that good? I would expect more like 15% saving if we're buying in a bulk quantity... Can you see what they could do for say 5+ units? Like I said definately interested
thats the best price they can do, and that's for a group buy of 10. it is expensive, but it's supposed to be the best.
How does s rank against a Greddy Profec B? I have been told by many places that it is as good if not better at holding boost etc as this turbosmart, among other things.
I cant really answer that question. Its up to you to do the research and make a decision on which EBC to go for.
The e-boost is sold on its own, the roll cage mount and the dual LED ring are seperate items. The e-boost comes in 60 mm or 66 mm same price any colour.
I was under the impression that e-boost is your best option if running big boost ie 18+ PSI. Have heard this from a few sydney performance/tuning shops... I currently have a blitz "dual sbc spec R" but am thinking of ditching it in favour of an eboost
if any of you want to get the e-boost at the reduced price of $730, contact Emmanuel at AMEC 07 3847 8737. Pete
just contact AMEC direct, tell them you saw the thread for the e-boost special price of $730 on the forum
