Sorted out what to do now turbo seals are going in the LHS turbo, after exhaustive homework I will be having the old unit removed then taken to the only turbo re-builder on the coast, he has quoted me $650 for a full rebuild, all neccessary gaskets etc. He has owned 2 Zeds before and he knows them well. All up should be around 12-13 hundred bucks all finished to get me back on the road.
I looked at upgrading the turbos but just too much cost for me at this stage, I will wait until I can do the intercoolers, ECU and Turbo all at once.(after winning lotto lol)
    Horror !!
Discovered timing belt is smothered in oil and it is weeping around the join in the casing above the water pump, so while it is in, I am getting the seals replaced and a new timing belt ...again. All replaced last year, but now out of warranty...sux as only now it shows...must be a dodgy seal on the crank or cams.
TTZ - Simon no longer keeps replacement units as nobody was buying them.
    Cheers Zedders !!
