Question is would a single piece tailshaft fit a for a 300zx 2+2 turbo and
300zx 2+2 NA be the same?

To clarify, An NA has a universal joint at the differential end, whereas a TT has a CV joint.

Related Q. When you replace the driveshaft on an auto, do you need a plug to put in the box so all the fluid doesn't run out (I don't want to lose $300 worth of Redline oil if i don't have to)?

Only if the car is on an incline. If you do it on a hoist you won't loose any.

I wish I had a hoist. But I assume this would hold true for a car suspended about 1 foot off the ground on jack stands (I know, pity me) as it would still be straight?

No reason why you cant jack the rear a bit higher than the front.
