if it gets grinded too much then could it cause a leak?

If this is the case then i guess you can count me out?. My original post expressing my concern was due to the implication that all dumps need to be milled. If its unique to each car then it might be worth the risk.

In the instance that shaving off too much will not cause any issues then i am fins with the fact tune agent will perform the task for us.

Sorry to be a pain Tom

I dont want mine ground down if it could cause problems.

Especially when they might fit the way they are.

I take it no one has put these on a TT Manual before? What model are these pipes designed for? If they dont fit I will want a refund.....

    Sorry to be PITA.

It won't cause an exhaust leak, it may cause a leak between the wastegate and the turbo pipes.

THESE WILL NOT CAUSE AN EXHAUST LEAK

i wish people would make up their mind.... i'm trying to organize a group buy here!

If there was too much shaved off, it wont cause any problems, it just means that there will be a TINY gap between the two pipes (exhaust and wastegate)... the turbo and dump will be sealed (i.g. NO AFFECTED!!!).

IF YOU DON'T WANT THE DUMPS SHAVED, TELL ME NOW!

Money has already been sent... tuneagent offer a money back guarantee... they are getting grinded tomorrow and sent out on friday...

why does everyone wait till the last minute?!?!

got exhaust lined up got a bit more power back but fuck.. the car felt

better, torqier, and less lag with the stock dumps/fronts on.. biggest waste of money ive ever spent.

if you're getting the test pipes

you might want to take a look into the Metal Cats GB going on in the other thread

we need some numbers and you need high flow rates :)

    mafia...

did you have cats when you fitted the dumps and tests? i have seen figures that stated that there was actually less flow without the cats... this is in rare cases..

and did you fit them up correctly? there wasn't any gasses escaping between the dump and turbo housing?
