what are you planning to do with the throttle cable? can it be hidden or turcked safely? coz thats the ugly bit the cover hides......

true, but the whole point of this is to remove messy cables hehe:eek:

Battery's going in the boot. Power steering reservoir under the nose panel. Then a final tidy up of the brake/clutch booster piping.

The throttle cable can't be relocated so far as I know. Once I put in the cruise control with the second cable it'll be more symmetrical and hopefully be a bit of an improvement.

Yeah top feed is a nice look, winfactory yeah? Shame it's such a crap colour scheme though, if your doing your bay a different colour to the body it's gotta be black.

I would never have started my tuck if the original colour of my car wasn't black - gun metal car, bay black or gun metal only if I'm going to show it off. Cool it is right?

Yeah gunmetal car with gunmetal or black bay are the only ways to go.

I found them a while ago from a uk supplier. If I remember correctly they cost about $150 plus post. Ill find their website when I get home ill let you know. They look really really good but pretty sure they are illegal in aus due to needing a cover over timing components or something and its just a lil risky incase something happens to snag the timing belt, bent valves will be the likely result.

Am i seeing taht correctly?? the zed with the cream engine bay has been converted from tt to na? i wonder this as it has a brake booster

and with the red tt with the power steering resy in the nose panel, does that work correctly as i have been told that is to be gravity fed and looking at that set up its mounted high on the bonnet bracket which is still sitting higher than the power steering pump.

Can someone fill me in if im right or wrong and if wrong educate me please, still learning this stuff.

    Cheers

Obviously the reservoir works in that location or it wouldn't be there at all. It's still above the pump, that's what matters yes.

Gun metal car has been converted to rear turbo the owner told me.

Why is there not more rear mounted turbos? is there more cons then pros?

dont mean t ohijack thread my apologies

A lower mounting point for the brake reservoir is possible but hard to bleed. best way to do bleed these is with pressure and actually go from the bleed point with a supply of fluid and force it back to the reservoir. done this on Choppers with foot brakes that have low reservoirs a high loop along the frame and down again to the caliper which can often be mounted above the reservoir height.

I would not do it in a Z, on bikes if you have both front and rear brakes on a single foot actuator or if you have a foot pedal that has an integrated reservoir you can run into issues with airlocks in the brake lines.

then you end up with a bike like this nice and clean...

    I just have to say:

HOLEY MOTHER OF GOD LONGEST INTERCOOLER PIPING IN THE WORLD BATMAN!

If the lag doesnt kill you, running your charge pipe next to the exhaust should make it worse!!!!!
