Just wondering if anyone knows whats going on with the TTzed group buys. October 13 I got an email in telling me that my parts were in stock, and asking me which colour UD pulley was required.

I responded on that day and have not heard anything since. Anyone know whats going on? I need these parts now, and these games with ttzed is getting old.

    Yep hes busy alright!

So busy infact, he should let someone else run ttz
some one who wants to actually sell Z parts. This shit goes on all the time, give it away Simon!

    Just ring him........>>

And leave a message. Then ring him the next day, and the next, and keep doing it. Ring during the morning or afternoon, or both.

In all seriousness, you shouldn't have to do that!

If Simon wants to provide a service to people, then one phone call should be enough for him to call you back. Anymore and he obviously isn't interested in the business or to make some money.

If he doesn't time to call back or even answer the phone, he should give up or hire somebody to run the show for him. Would be a win/win solution for all IMO.

Always see comments on here about people not being able to get in contact with Simon - rather disappointing really.

Would you do that if you were dealing with any other firm?

I think not, you would tell them to get stuffed, and move on to a reliable supplier.
Why the Hell should anyone have to beg for service?

But it appears to be the case. How can a virtually non-profit company afford to pay the wages of a full time employee? which it would need to do if he hired someone else to run it. Getting in touch with Simon has been a problem for nearly a year now, yet people still place orders, then complain when they don't get them. Why are they still placing orders? I honestly don't understand it.

TTZ Parts & Responses from Simon.

    Hi Brenton,

I'm new at all this, my first experience with trying to source parts for my Z were from this forum. I found many links/talk about TTZ and how cheap the parts were, then I discovered that people were having trouble with contacting Simon. O.K. so from here you make a decision on if it is urgent or you can choose to shop elsewhere - knowing that it may take some time for him to get back to you if there are questions (and knowing that the business is a side-line project)

Now knowing all this I make a decision to go follow through with the order anyway and see what happens. I placed it and a couple of days later Simon responded via e-mail verifying the list of parts were in stock and would update when they had been shipped. The next part took a few more days and another e-mail arrived - providing the shipping/tracking number (very cool that tracking stuff). I had responded/replied to his e-mails but I received no responses from him. O.K. my questions were realy enquiries and not real questions really, but still would have liked a reply.

Within the week a parcel arrived via courier and I had my parts. Now there is not a lot I can critise here. Especially since it is a 'second job/side line' for Simon. And the parts were reasonably well priced. From my personal perspective and experience this was not a bad transaction at all!

Sometimes you just have to wait for good things, and yes a response would be appropriate for good service I believe, don't leave your customers out in the dark...

    Just my two cents worth.

    Cheers, Kaz

    You just got lucky!

As for his parts being reasonably inexpensive, you must be jokeing! Importing from ameaica COZ, is far better, and you actually get the parts, most times in under a week.

well why have a website and take orders if you cant fill them or pay someone to.

not wasting my time on it anymore.

Definitely lucky, I did the same as you...

...put in my order and got not a single response to my order. I couldnt get through to him, he would not call back or use email. 2 months later I sent an order to to concept Z and had my parts in ten days and at about a 3rd less of simons price for the same thing.
Pitty about Simon as I am spending quite a bit of money on the zed at the moment and would liked to have spent at least some of it on his parts. Hopefully there will be a return of his service at some stage.

what i find interesting/unusual for any kind of businessman is that

in my 12 months on the forum, this issue has re-appeared at least every two months ...

simon's supporters have come to his defence each time with the same advice, excuses, reasons for non performance ... BUT not once, to my memory, has the INVISIBLE simon ever bothered to provide an explanation of his position, preoccupations or whatever ... very strange business practice, indeed, momma ..??!!:(:(

He's not motivated by money, so you will see him less than say some vendors

looking to make sales. What could he add to the discussion anyway. Things are like wykked has said and if people continue to do business with him, they get something cheap but maybe at the cost of some effort in chasing him.

Im after some parts myself shortly and I will be in the same boat. I could just go to the local nissan dealer. Spend ages with him trying to find the right parts, not finding the parts, right parts not arriving, then pay 20% extra, but if it costs me a few calls a day to save the hassle, fine by me.

As for closing his site, I really like it. I often use it as a reference for parts Im looking for. Perhaps a clear message though about the availability of the owner would be nice.

With the greatest of respect, it would seem that he is not "motivated" by anything, even criticism.:thumbsdown:

NOR, would it appear, is he motivated by a concept called SERVICE

Nor motivated by a concept called responsibility :(

If he hasn't the time for it, he should not take the extra responsibility on.
