Ok, as we know the Oil to the cooler is restricted by a preasure spring which (apparently) only allows 10% of the Oil to the cooler when Oil preasure is 60psi or above.

I want ALL the oil to go through the cooler when a temp. is reached .... QUESTION; can I block of the current line to the Oil Cooler and fit thermostatic adapter block (set to 80'c) between the Oil Filter and Oil Filter Tree?

Want to avoid removing the engine to fit a n/a Oil Filter Tree.

    Hope this makes sence.

That is the setup that I have. All the oil flows through the cooler before the filter when the temp is above 180f.

    TTZ have kits for that

oil in the zed is passed tru the oil cooler when the oil pressure reaches 60psi, so whilst stationary or at cruising speed the oil cooler is not in use. Use this kit to overcome the 60psi factory setting, this bypass is controlled by an internal thermostat set to operate at a temperature of 161?F and be fully open by 180?F (closed at 160?F).

    KIT CONTENTS
1x Fluid Control Thermostat (Fully open at 180?F, Closed at 160?F)
    4x 3/8? hose barbs
    4x hose clamps

Shipping Time : usually ships overnight

    Price : $84.62
