I have a spare gearbox that needs a new home. Recently had it serviced a checked. It does have a slight synchro issue when changing between 2nd and 3rd. The gears are fine and has full synthetic oil. Looking for $450 and can deliver free from Gympie to the Gold Coast.
It was recently serviced and checked while in the car by Sunstate Gearboxes. Was told that everything is good but the synchro in third had a minor issue. He replaced the fluid with full synthetic and the issue was barely noticible. I have massively increased the power and so decided that a new 98+box would be better than spending money on getting a 23yr old gearbox getting refreshed. The box is out of the car, but I would suggest getting a new throw bearing.
