Geez what happened there?? The only other zx i've seen with that much burnt is from the middle east and it was hit with a rocket launcher!
man I'm still learning to.. thats why its sooo important to get info on these or any H.Performance cars I bought that car without any prior knowledge on the zeds and it was this forum that alerted me to what MIGHT of happened, the motor in the red one was a second hand one and the fuel lines that where put in where not your zed fuel lines, they where stocky ones bought from your local repco place, its my understanding that the fuel pump pumps out about 45psi and normal fuel lines wont handle that sort of pressure...correct me if Iam wrong..so after driving her home one night leaky leaky on the hot turbos/manifold and hey presto B.B.Q!!!! so dont worry it wasnt the zed it was ignorance thats why I wont skimp on the car again treat it right and it should treat you right back..hopefully but ya gotta love the zed:zlove: :zlove: :zlove:
Damm thats a shame nice looking red zed... Toy300 is a bloody nice zed Either they used the wrong type of fuel hose or they didnt tighten them up correct... Not everyone uses oem fuel hose btw... Fuel hose has different pressure ratings from my understanding... Its like putting fuel hose from a carbie car onto an efi car it is plan stupid... the prssure is totally different between to too. It is a shame to see a zed go up in flames like that... Do you still have the red one? like did you buy it back off the insure if they paid you out? Best of luck with the new zed iam sure you are more then happy with it :zlove:

yeah insurance paid me out but we are still fighting over the car I want it back for spares etc c how it goes... thanks for your comments guys
They didnt offer you to buy it back?? Thats abit rude of them... I would be ripping into them to get it back...
yeah thats what the fights about there policy states that owner has first rights to the wreck, they take the money in a snap but give you greif when they have to keep their end of the contract ... shannons by the way.. and lost my 60% no claim they are sharks but no one was hurt thats the main thing
