Trip to Somerset Dam

    Somerset is a great spot and fantastic roads to and from it! Good to see you had a nice trip and thanks for some great photos too :)

    Hasen't he still got leaf springs in the back of that? Well he might get us down the whole 500m of straights over 27k's, the rest will be fun ;) Have to crack out Timmy's turbo MX5, that thing absolutely handed my arse to me :eek:

    i went up there last weekend in the vert with chrispy....was a good day....ill have to upload the pics

    took the mrs there yesterday in the corolla....well tried to. the brakes decided to not work coming down the otherside, they were smokin :eek:, so pulled over for 30 and went back home...only for them not to work ont he way down ont he other side again lol...

    all good, still alive lol

    Thats the great thing about living out where I do, I jumped in the zed yesterday and took the kids for a nice leasurely drive to Wivenhoe and around the roads leading to mount glorious. It is only 10mins from my door step so makes for a nice sunday afternoon cruise.

    Yeh i organised a mount glorious cruise a few years ago starting off with a lap of one of the lakes. It's an awesome drive especially when there is no traffic!

    actually on your way home did you drive past the gabba??? and through cooparoo???? if so i was two cars behind you but couldnt get close enough to see number plates cause there was a car for of olds infront of me....

    Nah that's a dodgy way... ;) Dropped mum home in Kenmore then through Jindalee,, Darra, Rocklea to get home.

    but all good, i was in the rolla and saw a red zed in front...didnt know who it was
