Looking at a couple of thins to try and stick my car to the ground, perfect opportunity for a group buy on some rear end bits and pieces! These would be perfect for those running big HP, planning some track days, or with their 20yr old bushings starting to wear out!

    UAS Subframe Cradle Bushes
    [IMG]

    • Complete set of four bushes
    • Replaces factory bushes which are often worn
    • Harder than stock, so good for increased power

Price: Normally $195, group buy price is $125/set.

    UAS Alloy Cradle Locking Rings

    • Prevents excessive movement in the rear caused by big power and extreme driving conditions such as track.
    • Improves Handling
    • Can be used to adjust squat angle for improved traction, instructions supplied with every purchase

Price: Normally $145/set, group buy price is $99/set.

    UAS Diff Bushes

    • Replaces worn factory bushes
    • Stiffer compound for improved traction
    • Reduces axle tramp and improves handling

Price: Normally $90/set, group buy price is $60/set.

    How to Order
    • I will leave this Group buy open until the end of November.
    • I will need 50% deposit up front to confirm your order, please PM for details
    • Balance will be due within two weeks of notice that your order is ready to send

I found that replacing my diff and subrame bushes helped alleviate a horrible drivehsaft vibration, would recommend it if you are chasing a tricky vibe. Makes the rear end feel a lot more controlled too.

The cradle lock rings can be put on with the subrame on the car too, makes installation A LOT cheaper than the bushes which is time consuming and not fun!

So yeah... Good stuff and would buy if I didn't already have :p

hmmm i'm interested. I nearly bought the Energy suspension kit until the dollar crapped itself.
I know I need to replace everything above, but the rest of the car probly needs it too. I'm just wondering if there is a more economical way of doing it that's all.
Do UAS offer any sort of complete suspension kit?

    Regards
    Ben

No probs mate, all in stock at this point. That may change by the time the buy closes but it's all made locally so there shouldn't be big delays either way.

Hey ben, yeah we can put something together for you. Keep in mind though you will eliminate some bushes if you go to rosejoint adjustable components.

definitely interested in both subframe and diff bushes. Any comment on quality and comparisons to the hyper flex (energy) poly urethane bushes? I was going to go solid alloy bushes but this is too good an offer to refuse IF they're top notch quality. Not a job i want to do more than once

Top quality, good enough for UAS. Locally manufactured to john's requirements... Solids will be harder, and noisier and minimal benefit i am 99% sure slot as still uses urethane.

ok then. Well i'll probably be in for this then, full set of subframe bushes and diff carrier bushes. How much is the deposit and when will it be needed by?

I don't think that will ever be happening, the ride is already hard enough running on 19's and abflug coilovers :D

No hurry at all mate, the car is killing my wallet at the moment, but on the up side it's progressing steadily.

I can get alloy ones, but would advise against it. They are noisy, they vibrate, and they offer no cushioning (which is how things get broken). John has used these urethane bushes in the slot car for many years and most suspension engineers advise urethane over alloy.
UAS brand, made in aus to UAS specs.

    Interest and Alloy Bushings

    Heaps of interest so far...

    1. rob260---everything
    2. badxtc---everything
    3. zedex---subframe bushings---diff bushings
    4. whitenight---subframe bushings---diff bushings
    5. anton---locking rings
    6. bonezx---everything

Also a couple of people have mentioned alloy bushings. Just wanted to clarify that yes I can get them but would advise against them for a couple of reasons.
    • noisier
    • more vibration
    • no cushioning

You want some cushioning in your setup unless you are running a full time track car and can afford to replace joints/gears/pinions etc after every season. John's car runs urethane bushes and has done for many years.

can we get the bushings in all black or all red?
    or is it blue ...subframe
    red.. diff
