   There are wights on the converter so it is obviously balanced. Is it balanced on its own? Another words can i swap a good torque converter and not be worried about balancing the trans and converter as a pair ?

   Yes, torque convertor is dynamically balanced as a unit, not in conjunction with any thing else.
