hey guys i have a question if anyone can help... when setting the timing on the VG30 NA engine, do you have to pin connect 2 wires or bridge anything before using the gun on it?? and what is the proper setting for a NA engine??

No you don't bridge out anything. Ensure the engine is at normal operating temp, engine is at idle (700rpm for MT, 750 AT) and use and inductive timing light pickup from #1 coil wires.

What's to know? Whenever you feel thankful, simply click the button that says "thanks"

Unless it's in sections other than ZR ;)

Ah I see.. that explains it!

You might have to do a minimum number of posts before it works... I'm sure the forum admins can let you know one way or another though. :)
