timing belt replacement

could any one tell me please the best place to get the timing belt done in perth and if u had it done at the same place and were happy with the result.

Good idea (if they stock it). I think you need the BT180H which isn't listed on their online store.

I doubt if you will be able to finish timing belt replaced 100% in a tech day. It is a time consuming job if engine is not on a stand.
If You can get all the parts ordered from US and then it is 3/4 hours job.
There are few places you can go to do the timing belt change. PM me for more details.

 

i agree with kabir about getting the whole kit. But it can be done in a day with the motor in. You will also need some good sealant for your water pump and water pipes.

what places do u know or recomend mate.
i might get it done professionally i think it's better and it's not fair for me
to take my car to someone elses tech day for a major job.

 

I'm ok with it. I'm actually keen to see what needs to be done, so it doesn't bother me at all.
If you wanted to, organise with someone to give you a hand (Chris maybe) on either day and just make sure and they you turn up early enough to finish.

Or, pay someone to do it. Your choice, but don't think you HAVE to get it done somewhere else.
