    Hey guys,

Think drifting caused this otherwise i dunno

This noise happened after a few days from drifting, noise happens comes from the front left hand side of the car,
it happens on and off, in gear or neutral.

The noise is like when u drive on the shoulder lane, with a slight vibration

Had a look under it today all i found was this thing leaking dunno what it is ? is this the cause of the noise ?

Broken rack boot, easiest and cheapest fix is just to replace the boot with a commodore one from repco for $10. Might pay to check if the seal is damaged but if you're doing some fully sick drifting I wouldn't bother. Just replace the boot and away you go.

As for the noise it sounds like you may have a bad wheel bearing. Does it sound like This?

Edit: just noticed you're missing the 2 bolts that hold the passenger side gearbox bracket onto the block. Might pay to replace them and check the other side while you're at it.

The broken boot won't be causing the noise, though it is something you should fix to prevent debris from getting in and wrecking your rack seals.

As for the noise, sounds like you need to replace your wheel bearing. The reason it won't make the sound all the time is because as you turn or the wheel becomes unladen it will be reducing the load on the bearings.

Jack your car up, grab each wheel and check it for lateral movement. Trying to drift with stupidly large and/or sticky tyres on the rear wheels will contribute to increased bearing wear.
