Hi Everybody,After replacing bushes and bearings on the front suspension i,m left with movement between the third link and upper link.
Pedders have quoted about $500 for labour and wheel alignment W/O parts,
I've done a search and nobody has mentioned replacement of this part, so I looked at the service manual and there isn't much there either.
    I found this
    http://www.conceptzperformance.com/...Type=NIS300&UID=20130821174019119.225.249.168
In the service manual it looks easy but when you see the parts there is more to it.
Has anybody had experience at doing this job?
The kingpin looks tapered can is just be tightened?
    Are there any alternatives?
    Thanks
    Bruce

That's cause you don't replace that bearing. Its WAY WAY easier and a lot cheaper to get the entire wish bone assembly off a wreck. I have both sides here spare in the parts pile.

Takes about an hour to swap the entire assembly over. Then go get a wheel alignment.

BTW getting the king pin apart is an absolute bastard of a job. That's why I swap the entire assembly.
