Does any one know anything about 350Zs. the reason I am thinking of upgrading is that it is very difficult to get a 300 serviced in the north of WA. So a more modern car should be easier and there fore more reliable. I will miss the Targa roof. whats the pros and cons

sorry mate, but thats the most pityful reason for downgrading to an ugly 350 ive heard ,i cant get it serviced lmaooooo

do you really think if you cant even get a 300 serviced, you can get a 350 that nobody has probably ever done serviced

pros.. newer, faster (if you z32 is an NA), better looking, more comfortable, probably more reliable
cons.. slower (if Z32 is TT) no targa (vert looks gay) z32 fan boys don't like them

I'm thinking of going down the 350z path in the future. I saw one on carpoint.com.au for 26,000!!!!

For me, having owned the 300zx and being a member here. I'm in a better position to spot the car I want (I bought my 300zx with little mechanical experience or knowledge of the cars).

I think the best thing will be a new car that doesn't have all the rattles and other little things a car of 15+ years has.

I think they look pretty cool, but that comes down to personal opinion. Just don't get a 'sunburnt orange' one.

That's just a cop out, in 10 years time your 350Z is going to be old too yknow.

If you are set on a 350, wait till they release the 370z then prices should fall(should be happening sometime next year i think, not sure)... If you like em then get one, i personally have been considering it and will probably get one in a few years (doesn't mean ill get rid of the 300 mind you;))

A 350Z would have a bit of competition on his hands - it would be marginal but my NA could beat it. Please dont put NA's down - we do get a quicker start off the mark too compared to a TT, so we're not all bad or slow.....

Have your flame suit at the ready lmao!

Buying a 350Z coz you cant service your zed? geez thats a bit harsh! As aazn has suggested - do a tech day and do it yourself....

The 370Z is much better looking than a 350Z....

Mine doesnt have any rattles either....

C'mon WA guys pitch in and help him out here lol

wow your NA runs 13's? COOL!!!!!! (quoted factory 350Z time being 13.8 (2007 model))

older models are a little slower, but not too much.

where abouts in WA are you?
North as in butler or north as in geraldton or broome?

i drove a 350z not too long ago, and to be honest i was really disappointed. while it still feels sporty, it just didn't do anything for me. i didn't feel low to the ground and enclosed like the zed does, the 6 speed gearbox was fun but that's about it.

plus they do look like crap - to make them decent i think you need to put a decent kit on them.

That pretty much sums up 90% of peoples mentality around here, no passion at all.

I'm just saying, selling a 300ZX because there's no shops near by? That's like getting a divorce from your wife because the shoe store is too far away. lol

I'm in the middle of Brisbane and I think there would be maybe one or two shops I'd trust working on a Z, and even then you're going to pay out the ass for it.

NO YOUR NA COULD NOT BEAT IT UNLESS IT HAS NOS

na Z32 has 168kw at the flywheel

Z33 has 208kw at the flywheel

Please tell me how your car that has 40kw less is somehow still going to "beat it"

Maybe when you say "beat it" you really mean "lose badly"?
